    CT-170 is a transparent, colorless, and odorless fluid that can be used for various applications, including heat transfer, lubricant deposition, electronic testing, and cleaning. CT-170 is a purified perfluoroether that is non flammable, thermally stable, and does not deplete ozone. This product is recommended as a perfluorocarbon (PFC)
    The use of alternatives to hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) is aimed at replacing ozone depleting substances (ODS) and chlorinated materials in many applications. In addition, its chemical and thermal stability, non flammability, and low toxicity make it suitable for other industrial applications, such as special solvents and immersion phase change liquid cooling for various data service centers such as cloud computing data centers, ultra-high voltage power grids, high-speed train power inverters, lithium battery powered vehicles, wind turbines, nuclear power, and cooling and heat dissipation for military radar systems.

    Material compatibility of CT-170 fluids: After 24 hours of exposure at boiling temperature, it has similar properties to PFC liquids with a variety of metals, plastics and elastomers. Good compatibility with particularly sensitive plastics such as polycarbonate and PMMA indicates practicality in cleaning components containing many composite materials.

    Like most fluorinated liquids, CT-170 liquids are absorbed by fluorinated plastics PTFE and elastomer silicone rubber after prolonged exposure.
